ABOUT CLINIC
The Center for Social Cognition is dedicated to developing and enhancing your child’s social, cognitive, and communications skills—the skills that allow your child to meaningfully participate in society and to enjoy life. Because children with cognitive and language delays have greater deficits in social cognitive processing, and also demonstrate deficits of emotional understanding and responsiveness, cognitive and language processing are necessary for quality social interactions. Our therapy programs teach children to encode, interpret, monitor own behavior, and use language to reason about social situations.
